...Not for good, but in three weeks I'll be packing up and hitting the road Southbound for at least 4 or 5 months!
I'm excited to check out a new place. I've spent some time around Boulder but not enough to really know what I'll think of it. Right now we're leaning toward finding a place to live outside of town, in the mountains to the West. Maybe Nederland. We'll see. Should be a fun place to run and live.
Moving away from Juneau will be hard, but I'm almost certain I'll be moving back here sometime after December so I'm excited for that. Autumn and early winter is pretty difficult here anyway.
Anyhow, enough about all this. Time for a run.

Wow, now that's some news. Looking forward to having you in town!
Tim
Didn't get enough miles with Anton in California?
;)
Hope all goes well with the move.
Taking up running full time/no other jobs? I think this will be a great move for you. Good luck with everything!
If you find yourself passing through North Van on your way down drop me a line and I'll let you tag along for a run...if you can keep up that is!

Nick Clark is just up the road in Ft Collins. Krupicka is here in Boulder (at least until he finished grad school). And now Geoff Roes.
Heck, last I checked Kilian was in town too (temporarily).
Is it even safe to go trail-running around here anymore?
John dont forget The Jurker is training there for UTMB
Now you just need to move a few hundred miles east and that would be great. Good luck with the move and good luck to Corle' in college.
Love you,
Mom
Hmmm ... is a run at Pb-ville in the cards then?
That's cool, if it was me I know I would not be going back! I need to move from OH to CO!
Wow! That is awesome! Not that I could ever keep up with you but I'd love to show you some cool trails if you are interested!
going to my homeland! :) I have an uncle that lives in Nederland ... really great laid back old hippie if you need some help around the area.
you going to be training w/ Anton (and maybe Jurek)?! I can't imagine what that is going to do for you 2 and how much more sick you both will get... all other ultra runners should be afraid... be very afraid! (or move to boulder)
I'm also laughing that you say you'd be going back to AK in December... cause that makes sense for most ;)
Good luck... and don't let the smug (no typo) get to you!
It's position as a running mecca just got stronger! Can't wait to spend the week of Aug 2 "working remotely" from Boulder.
I thought I would move back to AK too....but fell in love with the Wasatch trails.
You pretty much proved that you don't need to train at elevation to win at elevation. Whatever you've been doing is working. It'll be exiting to see how the rest of the year goes.
I think Geoff will fit in perfectly with the city of the smug.
So happy to see you coming to Boulder! I think you'll love it out here!
