Busy Days With Little Training...

Run 7 miles
Bike 3 miles (commute)

Yesterday:
Road Bike 25 miles

A couple easy days. Been working too much. Need to work a lot again tomorrow so it'll be another mellow day of training as well. Waiting anxiously for the weekend. The race I was hoping to run on Saturday has been postponed due to snow on the trail, but I will probably do a similar distance (~15 miles) at or near 25 mile race pace.

Sorry your race got postponed. At least it wasn't cancelled completely. Have a good weekend. My training block for Booty starts today. We'll see...

Hey Geoff I agree. I'm leaning more and more back to good stable/light running shoes like my brooks addrenalines and for 50k's Brooks STracers. I've also been seeing wise ultra runners at races doing the same. I think we sometimes get caught up in the trail shoe hoopla. I have yet to see a trail shoe really impress me.
I guess I can't totally diss Montrail as I think their best shoe is the Continental Divide, but around the midwest we seem to wear the Vasque Blurs and they are very similar to the divides. I really like the blurs.
