Too Much Fun For Blogging

Haven't been taking the time to post much here. Too much good running to be spending much time online. Also been busy with last minute details for my running camp which begins tomorrow. If anyone is interested in an Alaskan running vacation later this summer there is still one space remaining in the second camp session that begins on July 28th. Check it out here.

Hope you're all getting out and enjoying the mountains as much as I've been in the past week. about 40k of vertical in the last 7 days. Doesn't get much better than that.

Best of luck with the camp, Geoff. Looks like the weather gods are smiling on you. We leave for our daughter's wedding tomorrow, but if there is anything you or the participants need from FMS, please just stop by the shop and ask for Courtney or Sean and they'll take care of you. Have fun!

digger,
none to speak of. I saw a few at my friend's house today but there are really not that many mosquitos typically in juneau.

betsy,
thanks so much. enjoy your time outside.

That's the way to do it, man run first, blog whenever! It's what us readers would do! Glad to hear you're enjoying it.

Wow! 40k vert in 7 days. And I thought I was doing good with 4k in 7 days. lol It's safe to say I'll be a little behind you at WS100. Let's just hope not more than 15 hours behind.

Geoff,

Just a note to say i really appreciate the links to interviews and other things you put on your site because otherwise over here in England we don't get much press about the ultra scene. They are really helpful and informative. How are you feeling compared to last year ?. Do you think you have a chance of beating your own record at WS100 ?. It's a shame that the money in ultras isn't as good as it could be though improving as it would be great to see you and some of the other guys come over and do some clinics or camps as i am sure they would be booked up as race wise we do have a very vibrant scene.
