Cool stuff!
Are you planning on doing Iditarod by foot or bike? My buddy Pierre is doing it again, on bike for the whole enchilada.

By way of foot, with pulling a sled, is it even smart to run at all? Wouldnt that build up sweat which would ultimately be one's demise? Interesting stuff. I know with your amazing run at Susitna I'm assuming your ran.

regarding races up here my recommendations would be

Superior Sawtooth 100 or the 50miler. Purely epic, and arguably two of the toughest races in country at their respected distances.

Arrowhead 135 (although I havent done it yet) I like running with as little gear as possible, so I'll be contimplating this one.

Voyageur 50m

Ice Age 50m

McNaughton 150mile (havent done it, and 25 laps around a 10 mile trail loop doesnt interest me all that much, but would be epic. Fun trail especially if it's muddy and wet and ya have to use ropes to help get up some of the hills. Andy is a hell of a RD though.

Glacial 50m The toughest of the Ice Age trail races. Be my first time this year if all goes well leading up to it.

Dances With Dirt 50m Hell, Michigan. Havent done it yet, but this is a epitomy of XC courses. Tough, muddy as hell, nasty, river & bog crossings come out looking like Swamp Thing. mud from head to toe.

of course there are other great races as well. Lots of tough and beautiful 50kms, SS races, bike, XCski, etc..

have a good weekend.WynnManhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02160579726657693895noreply@blogger.com
